what is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership between client and coach in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximise your potential. Coaching is an opportunity for you to have time and space for discovery, clarity and action. It is a true partnership without any power dynamic or agenda. You are the expert on you and your life, and you direct each coaching conversation in the way that best allows you to connect with what is important to you. A skilled coach will be curious, listen, ask powerful questions, give you space to think and feel, and be your sounding board. Coaching focusses on the future and moving you forward, it is not therapy.

I believe that everyone would benefit from the time and space that coaching offers to focus on you and your needs. Entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, leaders, professionals and people going through personal challenges all commonly seek the benefits of a coaching partnership.

who credentials coaches?
The International Coach Federation (ICF) independently assesses and accredits coaches around the world. Unfortunately, there are many people who proclaim to be "coaches" but have not completed certified training or undertaken stringent credentialing processes. A coach who has undertaken ICF accredited training and/or been credentialed by the ICF has completed stringent education and experience requirements, demonstrating a strong commitment to excellence in coaching and to uphold the ICF code of ethics.
how do i choose a coach?
To discover your best self, you need to feel comfortable to deeply explore with your coach. Because this requires a high level of trust and honesty, it is important that you choose a coach who is right you. During our first phone call there are no obligations - we're simply exploring your goals and challenges and finding out if we're the right fit for each other - you are welcome to talk with other coaches before making any decision to get started.
WHY IS THERE A MINIMUM 3-MONTH COMMITMENT FOR INDIVIDUAL COACHING PROGRAMS?
Creating sustainable and meaningful change requires time, and a commitment to regular sessions for growth to keep you moving forward. Often, once people have the time and space to focus on what is most important to them other, sometimes unexpected, areas of their their lives also open up for further exploration.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY COACHING PROGRAM?
Payment for coaching is in advance of sessions, by credit card (unless otherwise discussed) - I accept Visa and MasterCard. By providing your credit card information you agree for it to be kept on file and give me permission to charge your credit card on the first of each month for the duration of your coaching program.
DO I NEED TO DO ANYTHING BEFORE OUR SESSIONS?
CAN I CONTACT YOU BETWEEN SESSIONS?
You are welcome to call or email between sessions if you have a challenge you’re stuck on or if you can’t wait to share a win (I love hearing about them!!). There is no additional charge for this and we’ll try to keep each call to between 5 and 10 minutes.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY COACHING SESSION?
My preference is to find a dedicated time each week that you can commit to. However, I understand that your schedule can change and you may need to reschedule an appointment. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for the cancellation of a session. If more than 48 hours are given, the session time will be renegotiated and rescheduled. If less than 48 hours are given, or the client fails to attend an appointment, then that session is forfeited and will not be rescheduled.
ARE OUR SESSIONS CONFIDENTIAL?
As an ICF member I abide by a strict Code of Ethics. All information from our coaching partnership stays within our coaching partnership, unless the law requires otherwise. My client list is confidential. If the person who referred you to us asks how you are going, I will suggest they ask you.
