I’ve helped people across a range of levels perform at their peak – elite and professional athletes; those training seriously for an event; those aiming to complete their first fun run; super sporty kids; weekend warriors – of any age, from around the country, participating in all kinds of sports.

Having always been active and from competing in many sporting events, I not only know the science of sports nutrition, I also get the realities. I know what it’s like to worry about gut upset, I know how hard it is to chew and breathe at the same time, and I sure know how great caffeine can be!! I’ll happily share my solutions but we’ll look at all the options and discover what works best for you.

I have a special interest in nutrition for endurance and ultra-endurance events having helped countless athletes be successful for events such as Ironman, Half-ironman/70.3, Ultra-marathon, Surf Coast Century, Oxfam 100, Three Peaks, Great Ocean Road Marathon, Melbourne Marathon, half-marathon events as well as others.

I also have a passion for helping weight-making athletes compete successfully and safely and have worked with athletes across a range of weight division sports including lightweight rowers and combat sports. I also love helping injured athletes get back to training sooner.

I care deeply about you and your ambitions and get just as inspired and excited about your achievements as you do.

how we work together:

To ensure greater convenience, comfort and confidentiality, all consultations are done by phone or, if you'd like to see each other while we talk, we'll use online video conference call (through Zoom - similar to Skype but easier!). 

After a detailed assessment of your nutrition and lifestyle and discussion about your goals, we’ll get started on some strategies to get you on a path to achieve success. 

If you are training for a specific event it’s great if we can meet early in your preparation so that we can trial various nutrition strategies in training. But it’s never too late – it’s always better to have a plan rather than wing it  on event day!

 

PERFORMANCE PACKAGE

If you are looking for ultimate success come event day then this program is for you. This package should ideally be started at least 6-8 weeks prior to your event to give you plenty of opportunity to trial things in training and refine your event plan (after all, no-one likes surprises on competition day!)

    • During training nutrition strategies 
    • Post training recovery plan
    • Hydration assessment (optional)
  • Customised competition nutrition plan including:
    • Pre-event preparation - depending on your event this may include:
    • Pre-event carbohydrate loading plan
    • Pre-event weight making plan (for weight division sports)
    • During competition nutrition strategies
    • Post event recovery nutrition plan
    • Recipe ideas can also be provided
  • Supplement recommendations and advice
  • Email contact between sessions is also welcome

COMPETITION NUTRITION PLAN

You’ve trained hard for an event and have all the gear you need – but to feel strong and perform at your peak on event day, a personalised competition nutrition plan is essential. 

Includes:

  • 3 x 1:1 consultations 
  • Customised competition nutrition plan including:
    • Pre-event preparation - depending on your event this may include:
    • Pre-event carbohydrate loading plan
    • Pre-event weight making plan (for weight division sports)
    • During competition nutrition strategies
    • Post event recovery nutrition plan
  • Supplement recommendations and advice 
  • Email contact between sessions is also welcome

TRAINING NUTRITION PLAN

If you are ready to take your training to the next level then this plan is for you. We'll complete an assessment of your current nutrition and training plans and develop a customised nutrition training plan so that you can optimise your training adaptations and achieve your goals faster.
